Privacy Policy

TendMark is designed to keep care information under your control, on your own iPhone.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Mark Kewley, trading as UK Web Host. TendMark is part of Tooltilities, a product of UK Web Host.

Contact: secure contact form

2. Information in the iPhone app

The app may contain information you choose to enter, including profile names and photos, routines, notes, appointments, events, checklists and confirmation history.

3. Information we receive

We do not run advertising or behavioural analytics in TendMark. We do not sell personal information.

If you contact us through the website, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. Our web host and email provider may process ordinary technical logs needed to deliver and secure the service.

4. Why we use information

Our lawful bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in providing support and securing our service, legal obligations and consent where the law requires it.

5. Retention and deletion

App information remains on your iPhone until it is removed through the app, or by deleting the app or resetting the device. Because it is not uploaded, there is no copy of it held by us to delete.

Profiles can be archived without deleting their history. A profile can then be permanently deleted in the app. Permanent deletion removes that profile’s routines, appointments, linked events, photo and action history and cannot be undone.

You can also archive history records by date, restore archived records, or explicitly delete archived history. Nothing is archived or deleted automatically. Deleting archived history removes readable details, including notes, recorded outcome details and actual attendance times. A minimal local scheduling marker retains the item identifiers, scheduled date and whether the item remains unresolved, so deletion does not cause handled items to return as overdue. Deleting the associated profile or all app data also removes those markers.

We normally retain genuine contact correspondence for up to 12 months after the last substantive response, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for an ongoing matter or legal requirement. Obvious spam may be deleted sooner.

6. Service providers and international processing

We disclose information only where needed to operate the service, comply with law or protect legal rights. This does not include your care information, which stays on your iPhone. Relevant providers may include Apple, for App Store purchases, and our website host and email provider, for the contact form. Their systems may process information outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards required by applicable law.

7. Children

TendMark is a personal organisation tool and is not designed to collect children’s information for advertising. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use and should avoid entering information that is not needed for the care purpose.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain processing, and receive information in a portable form. You can contact us using the details above.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Website cookies and analytics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve its pages. Google Analytics can collect information such as pages viewed, referring websites, approximate location and browser or device details, and use cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. Analytics is optional. The Google tag loads only after you choose Accept analytics; rejecting it lets you use the website without Google Analytics.

Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to review or change your choice. Rejecting analytics after accepting stops further collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this website. It does not delete information already received by Google. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice may need to be made again on another page.

We use consent as the basis for optional website analytics. Data is processed by Google and may be processed outside the UK. See Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and how Google uses data from partner sites (opens in a new tab) for its handling of this information. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this website’s tag configuration. We do not send support-form contents or iPhone care records to Google Analytics. Page addresses passed by our setup exclude query strings and fragments.

The contact form separately uses a short-lived session for security and rate limiting. The stored cookie choice is used to respect your analytics preference. These website controls do not change the iPhone app: TendMark does not contain an advertising or analytics SDK, and your care information stays on your iPhone.

10. Security and changes

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no device, email or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. Because your care information is held on your iPhone, keep the device and its passcode protected.

We may update this policy when the app, providers or law changes. The date at the top will identify the current version.
